Bravo! Yang yang seems to have become one of the best young singers in China. I've also been expecting more from him since I watched the ah mes amis video. These two video did not let me down. It'll be interesting to hear this guy sing those arias in I Puritani.

What usually happened in this kind of chinese competition is that the orchestra and the choir are pre-recorded on disks. Other contestents can use the same disks. These competition are not show off cases. they are serious stuff! Although unnecessary, the session after the singer is knowledge tests. He seemed to have got those questions wrong. I guess you are right Fabriz, he must have recorded the wrong answer to increase the chance of winning the competition.

He did not win the first place, the main reason is because he kind of screw up the knowledge test, which has absolutely nothing to do with opera. Anyways, I like him because he had been involved in this competition for like 3 or 4 times and never got a first place, but he just keep trying and never gives up!
