Video Description: There is no explanation for this. Just two young Navy guys doing the jitterbug in front of their peers. The original clip was rather short, so I manipulated it to make it longer. I'm sure the cadets would have wanted it longer. Their large deck audience seems to be enjoying the light-footed seamen. By special request, after 1,962 views in six months, I have added music: Emery Deutsch's Orchestra playing "Formal Night In Harlem." I was unable to find a vintage recording of "Wet T-Shirt Night In Harlem."

They were more comfortable looking at two black men dancing together! because two white men would appear to Gay?..beiing that blacks were thought of as circus performers): not to
be taken seriously or a threat to the social norm. Even if the two blacks were thought to be gay? it couldnt have been any worst for them as second class crew members. Yes race
does play into this dance number! for buck dancing from the old south was its kindrid
