Volume - That was a cage match between Crusher/Bruiser vs the Black Jacks and Heenan in Chicago (c. 1972). I've seen the tape. Classic Heenan. Bobby Heenan was a joy to watch in the 70s and into the 1980s.

I grew up in Chicago and started watching "Wrestling Champions" that was aired on WCIU-TV Channel 26 on Sunday mornings at 11:00. The announcer at the time was "Chuck Marlow" who was replaced by "Sam Menacker". The Bruiser, Crusher, Frank and Jack Dillinger(The Chain Gang), Mitsu Arakawa, Dr. Motto, Pretty Boy Bobby Heenan, Chris Markoff, Angelo Poffo, Johnny Case, Rodeo Jones, The Blackjacks, Paul Christy, and Yukon Moose Cholak were all a part of this legendary promotion!

Now I saw the exact same teams woirk a match when I was visiting Chi town in 1978. At the end the BJ's dropped LB on the top rope nech first. Did anyone else see it? Did they do this program often.
They really did great work. It's one of my all-time favs.

Watch closely when Heenan is busted open and gets back in the ring. At one point, you can see him slip the blade back to the ref who puts it in his pocket. Never in a million years would I have suspected it as a kid watching this but all these years later, you can spot this stuff.

I thought they lost this match. I actually have a wrestling book that says they were disqualified due to Little Bruiser interfering constantly. Stupid reporter/editor must have been half asleep or something.
