Yeah, it was his first film, apart from a 70 minute noirish black and white student film called Following.
I love the whole non-linear plotline, the different scenes not making sense but do make sense when pieced together, etc.
The short story Memento Mori by Nolan's bro Jonathan is very good, but vastly different. Instead of an insurance adjuster, the main character is a mental patient named Earl. It involves the wife's death, but the story is something of its own.
Guy Pearce was good.

yeah i love movies like that, where it confuses you the entire movie and at the end it all makes sense. If you havnent already, check out The Prestige. Great twist and the plot ALL comes together at the end. i havnt seen memento but ive heard good things about it. I'm going to watch it soon.
