Artists interviewed for the film include Elliott Smith, Spencer Moody from The Murder City Devils, Doug Martsch of Built To Spill, Sam Coombs of Quasi and Calvin Johnson.

The first Modest Mouse song I ever heard was "The World at Large" and I didn't get to hear that until a few months before 'We Were Dead...' came out and instantly they were my favorite band. So that night, I went down to Sound Garden (if your ever in Baltimore check it out) and I bought every thing they had by Modest Mouse. Shortly after that I connected Brock to Ugly Cassanova and quickly grabbed up that album (again from Baltimore's Sound Garden). But anyway, I'm a modest mouse fanatic!

I can't believe I was living in Issaquah from 1994 to 2003 and I never heard of Modest Mouse until after I moved! They were living in the same damn town as me the whole freaking time, and I'm a HUGE fan now! I probably bumped into them, made em a sandwich at subway, or rang up their purchases at Target and didn't have the slightest clue who they were! DAMMIT!

Not even close, man. By saying I worked at Subway and Target, I meant to convey the fact that I was always someone the yuppies there looked down upon: a servant to them, one of "those lowly proletariats". I hated the yuppies there. I guarantee you I hated those douchebags more than anyone else. My dad was in a mental hospital and my mom was working overtime at the Issaquah Cafe as a waitress just to barely make ends meet, and I had to kiss their feet just to make a living.
