Sega already went to court with Lady Kier and Lady kier lost. Sega was able to prove that they had never heard of deelite prior to creating the game and that SC5 had been in production for a long time. Sega ended up winnig and Kier had to pay Sega's legal fees in addition to her other fees that she had incurred during the whole process
