isn't the rule of 2 ... ( 4 months ago by bloodfoxtrue)
isn't the rule of 2 and 4 a rough estimate anyway?
and if u have so many outs, u should def. call, if all other factors seem favorable
interesting point though

first.K7 is a bad hand to start with.you do count ALL of your outs, but it isn't smart to draw to a hand that you do not think is the best.maybe if you had AK in that situation you can call but you will almost never get the pot odds to call on a flop like that hoping to hit a 6 outer that may not be the best hand.here are some draws(in my opinion)that are GOOD.A/K high flush w/pair.open ended straight/flush draws.open ended straight w/pair...hope this helps

in the first example where it says there's 12 outs, shouldn't there be 18 outs because they didnt count the outs for the ace and 5, so that would add 6 more outs to the total of 12 making it 18 outs or am i wrong???
not really because ... ( 3 months ago by Phyphe06)
not really because if an ace does hit the board your stuck with an ace with a rag kicker. not very good to get your money in the middle with playing 9 handed. This is pot odds for the 'nuts' aka best hand

How could she say ... ( 1 month ago by isantoso81)
How could she say there are 9 outs for spades? Other people might have spades as well, don't they? And the number of cards haven't been seen cannot be 47 because if there are other players in the game, the number will be smaller. For example, in an 8-handed table, after the flop the number cards that haven't been seen is 52-(8x2)-(3 on the flop)=33, am I right??
no.. because you ... ( 1 month ago by VALARKNIGHT)
no.. because you don't calculate other players cards, because its totally random.. + it are also cards you havent seen yet, the other players cards aren't something you can deal with with mathematics.
His rule of 4 and 2 ... ( 1 month ago by VALARKNIGHT)
His rule of 4 and 2 isn't right,
it's because of the simple reason that you can't just count up amounts,
for example: If i flip a coin once, and I call heads, I have 50% change of guessing right.. but if I flip 2 coins, I can't just count up 50% + 50% because that would say i have 100% change of hitting 1 heads, and that's not true..

work it out guys ... ( 4 weeks ago by ryanbowk)
work it out guys you cant include the opponents cards in the count for outs because it impossible to know what they are, the reason you count the outs is so you can calculate wether or not you are statisticly getting value for your call in the long run because the next time you do the same calculation the cards in everybodys hands will be different so it is purely for a percentage reason

The theory of the ... ( 1 week ago by meanleaner)
The theory of the rule and four&two is mixed up in this video and very confusing to me, because there is another video claming that you have to multiply by 4 after the flop and after the turn it's 2. It makes better sense, because you have two cards coming post-flop and only one card coming on 4th street, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ur correct, it's 4 after flop and after turn its 2.
