Even if The NBA went back to NBC don't expect the good ole' days of NBA on NBC. NBC has started to take the low road of focusing more on the negative/controversial side of sports in their productions for the purpose of ratings, as well as using stupid musical acts for stupids intros just like ESPN has now done for the past few years. Just watch Sunday Night Football. It's better then ESPN but it's going more towards the trash ESPN has become.

warlockzulu hit the nail on the head - not only was the coverage great, but the hype matched the performance. Maybe it was just how they focused on the positives and the gameplay, or maybe the players raised their game. And maybe its just me, but the level of competition seemed so much higher during the 90s. Both the eastern and western playoffs were brutal. And the zebras may not have been perfect, but there wasn't this same overarching suspicion of foul play.

In the 80's, the NBA on CBS was on bomb! In the 90's, the NBA on NBC was on hit! This music brings back memories. When this song would play, it made you want to get up and play some ball! Bring this back and dump ABC please! Do Do Do Do Do Do!

no one had egos back then the players just let their skills do the talking, plus the knicks were freakin awesome in the 90s so were the pacers and bulls
