Great!!!
xaupsss!
but can someone please explain these lyrics
i cant quite comprehend this one
Same response here. There is melodic & harmonic beauty in her music. Her lyrical approach is poetic.
What pushes me over the edge are the relentless assymetries of form that sit on top brilliantly intuited structure.
All art is synthetic, i.e. it is made by people. Björk looks beyond the surface, capturing, revealing, & expressing form that reads as deeply natural. Her sense of detail is so breathtaking. She's capable of holding several musical thoughts in her head simultaneously.
Also, Björk has commented on how she wants to create music that encompasses as complete an emotional range as possible.
The formal aspects I mentioned previously r the means that she, and all great artists, delve into to acheive the type of result that she does.
I find it difficult to classify her as a 'female' artist because she reaches for, and produces, art that's very univeral and, therefore, very touching. However, there eists many gorgeous touches in her writing & expression.
I came across all these wonderful live videos about a week ago, and I was wondering if it was available on CD, and it is! I am so happy that I can listen to this beautiful performance whenever I wish!
this is the best Isobel that has been performed because you need a large orchestra to do this song, or else it sounds too comical and gamey and isnt gradually anticipated
