Tain came to my school on Monday and talked/played with the jazz ensemble. Being in one of the jazz classes, I got to watch. He was an extremely cool guy and was sensational on the drums, a "force of nature" if you will.

This is a great performance, but isn't it a little sacreligous to play this album. Theres a reason why these songs are hardly played by other musicians and aren't found in the real book(even though A Love Supreme was one of the most popular and influential jazz albums of all time). This is Coltrane's spiritual statement not anybody else's.
