if you actually watch the video you can see roope playing a... GUITAR!! wow!
there is only 2 guitars in this piece, they are both using effect pedals to sound like violins.

yeah but if you look closely on roope youll see that the notes he hit are the same as the violin. And you can run your guitar through a synth besides i only hear ONE GUITAR.

There is no violins. All the music is coming straight outta their guitars, through effects pedals and outta amps.

I agree its awesome... sorry... im not trying to argue, im just trying to get to the bottom of what we are both thinking...
I think they may have slightly different effects, or perhaps Roope has just honed this tequnique more than alexi i.e. peraps he is picking differently so get that smoother sound. Alexi's half sounds more "picked" (as opposed to the way you would play a real violin with a bow) than roope's

yeah roope is also tapping some parts that definately helps to make it sound smoother. But what if roope partly plays a guitar synth and partly distorted guitar?

to solve the soon to be disagreement...the other "sound" you are hearing is just another violin....cuz if you listen VERY close and hard you can hear Roope playing his guitar....but he is playing the same notes as the violins...
