No1Wanderer......TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEO!!...I served with the 1st Bde 101st Abn Div on my first tour in the Nam 67-68.....I've got a few videos, CIRCLE ON THE CROSS
SOME GAVE ALL & PAINTED FACES....The last 2 are a tribute to the last unit I served with in the Nam.

i was in the 101st..i i was proud to be with them last year for my 3 years with them..i wish i could go back! Lots of people see my right shoulder patch and were like" damn you miss 101st too!" we are and always will be a Proud division!

they have some jump status soldiers and air assault school is 3 weeks not 2 and its not useless you learn rappell and fast rope insertion helo ops and lsing load ops all of which are used throughout th eairborne and air assault community

BR1 is based at Fort Riley, KS., and I've been to both. The 101st has a much more brotherly attitude, and is, to me, a unit that will look out for its own better...

I would just like to say thank you to all of our troops. My brother is in the 1-101st in Afghanistan. He has already done two tours in Iraq. He has gave so much for our country. All of you are in my prayers and god will protect you and you all will come home.

I appreciate your zeal, but the 101st was born for D-Day, Normandy, WW2. They didn't have planes big enough for airborne infantry in WW1.

You are thinking of the 82nd Airborne originally the 82nd Infantry division the "All American Division".Until World War 2 broke out.Then they were changed to the 82nd Airborne.Also know as the "All Americans"

Please remember Capt Blake Russell's family. During his second tour he gave the ultimate sacrifice. He was in charge of one of the 101st Striker Groups. He loved what he did.
