Is this just an early specials performance cos if this was the specials A.K.A 2 " the reformation " then there whould be a different line up. Or is this jusr REALLY early specials , performing on top of the pops . What also is weird is that the the specials also performed on top of the pops a second time , the same song . I thought that time was there only appearence ? Im so confused

I listed this thinking...hold on there,The Specials were before A.K.A and this is one of their first performances on TOTP when TH was very young!!!But then listed it as Special AKA for some wierd reason....but yes....the fans are correct and Steve Wright mugs himself once again!

aww terry looks so bored...aside from the moody face he always has, i think he was just annoyed cuz totp is never live so there was no point in pretending, ricky wilson once pulled a hilarious move by stopping during the line "faking it everyday" they had to cut away lol

The Specials started as the automatics, they then changed to Special AKA before dropping AKA to become the specials, Gangsters was released as Special AKA (double A side with the Selector), they used AKA again for the too much too young EP. they adopted it again later for bright lights / racist friend onwards.
