British actors are in general the absolute best of all. Johnny Depp has a very British sense of humour which explains why he's great. The voices for one are the best, the charm, and also the authenticity, American actors usually have a very fake, and contrived way about them. British humour is also much more intelligent, Americans can't do subtle, it has to be, big loud and in your face, even the Office US, is in your face, and it's meant to be subtle. Anyone got something to say?

It's true in many cases, but there are many exceptions as well. For example, like caroline111 said, stuff like Arrested Development and Curb Your Enthusiasm is pretty subtle. And on the British side, well Little Britain is about as in-your-face as you can get.

Seinfeld? With the laugh tracks and the obvious gags? Seinfeld did not master subtlety. It was funny, particularly for the time, but it was not subtle, really. Arrested (Season 1 in particular) is what I call _subtle_.
