have you guys seen the trash these guys play??? most of the time pair of queens is good in this game. it's another thing in a "normal" cash game, where people usually don't bluff against multiple opponents but Mike Matusow is perfectly capable of betting this with a flush draw. It was a good laydown for Gold cause he really doesn't fold that easily. I think what affected his decision the most was that he was out of position and there could be a raise coming from behind.

Jamie Gold is a douchebag. And flopping top pair doesn't mean anything. It's easy to fold, especially if you know how the players usually play. What makes this fold amazing isn't that he folded top pair, it's that he folded, Mr Gold usually plays bad hands, and gets lucky.

I'm far from being a pro, but this laydown was okay at best, never ever an amazing one! Consider the facts: Matusow bets 75% of the pot in FIRST position with 4 possible callers behind.
Jamie would have to call almost 50% of the (relatively small) pot with top pair and a lousy kicker with 3 callers behind plus the original raiser Matusow.
He might think that someone is drawing for a flush or straight and could try to take the pot right there with a raise - but then again he has only a 7 kicker!
