It could be hypothyroid. Except that hypothyroidism doesn't happen in cats (just like hyperthyroidism is rare in dogs).
Pretty much the only way a cat can become hypothyroid is to have a radical thyroidectomy to treat its hyperthyroidism. But if that happens, it is very easily treated with synthetic T4 so...
I expect that this cat is just fat. :-)

Yes it probably is just fat. But hypothyroid does occur in cats, although rare. T4 supplement isn't always effective and owner compliance isn't always great, esp when it comes to medicating cats.

The Guinness book does not accept entries for fatter/thinner cat/dog/squirrel etc on ethical grounds. It want to avoid animal abuse, so what the video says about being on the Guinness is wrong!
