the song transcends any administration. it's not a deal with who's in office. the song is saying politics itself is almost completely futile. to use this song as means to attack Bush, or any other president before or after is silly. in fact, pete denied michael moore rights to the song for farenheit 911 for that reason. moore, in specifying its meaning to Bush, demeaned the song.
