OSU has the best band in the nation. I dont care what you say. Plus they get a lot of freshman from Perkins High School. The best high school band in Ohio and one of the best in the nation for the last 30 years!

There is absolutely no contest about it. You cant say that about your band until they compete in a respectable contest.

The best Marching band in the world goes to nobody. Instead, it goes to the 5 DCI bands that seem to be duking it out for the best Drum Corp title.

not heard of Perkins!!! ok first no way in hell are we a show band. second we're one of only two bands in the state of ohio to go to the state marching band finals all 29 years since its creation with 23 of those 29 years being superior ratings. its nice to support your school but dude, Perkins has the history. we've had college band directors showing OUR performances for 15 years!!

Yeah, I saw your video and also saw that your band has fallen into the trap of OMEA Marching Band. The best marching bands use much harder and more complex drill then simple box drills. (also much faster tempos) you should really look at Centerville. They are the best Band in ohio. You should also look into BOA Nationals. Bands across the country come to this competition to compete. Centerville was one of the top 12 out of 92 bands. (I dont go to Centerville but its neighbor.)

Sorry but I have to Centerville really is the best band in Ohio. And saying Centerville doesn't history is just stupid. They made finals in BOA Grand Nationals (Top 12 in the nation) 12 out of 16 years and missed finals by one spot three times. They won the whole thing in 1992. I've seen both bands and Centerville blows Perkins out of the water without any doubt. Your band might make semifinals in Grand Nationals but probably not finals.
