My question is: How does the computer register a click? Does the program say- if the LED light is smaller than 'this amount' then it is clicking?

Nevermind I understand it now. When you turn the light on and the Wiimote sees the light it tells the computer that it is clicking.

I got the infra red LED from a spare remote control that I dont use and connected them to a small AAA battery (from the remote) using a paperclip and sticky tape to connect them up.

This is great, Now I don't have to get a tablet, I've been playing around with this today and it looks like I can do a lot with it. I'm using a Mac version, and it is working well.

It just simulates a mouse. If you can save it by clicking the Save button with the mouse, while in MS Paint, obviously you can do it with the LED Pen and Wiimote :)
