but whats still happening behind closed doors is that u get faceslapped if ur to slow or something like that.
they say its always to see when a instructor tries to take a recruit down who is stronger than him, that the instructor gets taken down by the recruit.

I had 3 platoons, 'cause I got caught smoking twice and got recycled. I admit I was a shitbird and deserved my ass beat. But my last senior drill instructor, Staff Sergeant Rivera, was such a pathetic smallfry. He didn't like my rifle drills. He squeezed my thumb against the trigger guard and I looked at him and he was straining. I said "Sir, are you trying to hurt me?" He pretended his hand had a spasm and it hit the barrel, and the barrel hit my forehead, made a gash. "You walked into a door".
