i had the pleasure of seeing mavis in concert in germany a little while ago and the beautiful vibes that she floated over us let me know angels are amongst us. i would have loved to have seen mavis and the great sam cooke sing together love and peace and many thanks for posting this wonderful lady j vincent edwards

I remember listening to Mavis sing "I'll take you there" in the late 60's and early 70's and her sound was magical and sensual, it made me feel up... I was 10 yrs old then and loved her style... she and her group is the "I GOT A DREAM", personified in all dimensions.
