Video Description: This was mostly an excuse to play with classic macabre imagery. I have been wanting to create a video for one of the songs off of the Fireman's "Rushes" album for a long time.
For those of you unaware of The Fireman, The Fireman is the alter ego of Paul McCartney and Youth, (primarily McCartney,) and this track is from their 2nd CD "Rushes."
If you are a nicey nice McCartney fan, you may want to skip this video
The drawings are by classic pulp artist Virgil Finlay.

La peor canción de Paul McCartney despues de Kreen - Akrore pero me gustó el final con el piano si la canción hubiera seguido en vez de terminar el tema hubiera mejorado un poco.
Rushes es el peor album de Paul McCartney despues de Liverpool Sound Collage no escuché todo el cd pero por lo que escuché es malísimo tiene mejores discos que Rushes y Liverpool Sound Collage.

I love Rushes and can't wait to hear the new Fireman album coming out this year. I just found out about it in fact.
I still haven't heard the first Fireman album - although I hear it's not as good as Rushes.

Yeah, the first has maybe ONE track I like listening to. I can listen to Rushes in its entirity and never get bored of it. It has more melody than Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest does.

My favourite Fireman record.
And McCartney's best music up to that point
from 1986-1998.
His previous great record before Rushes
was Press To Play.
Then Driving Rain after Rushes, sans the bonus track Freedom.
I sense that Rushes will still be my favourite Fireman record, even after
this new one is released.
McCartney should really have better sense
these days than to sing mostly-gibberish
(Nothing Too Much Just Out Of Sight).

Perhaps if Paul starts to lose his voice, he could consider doing more stuff like this.
I like `nothing too much', but I do agree that Paul should try to improve his vocals a bit. If you can still do one like That Was Me, you can do better than You Tell Me. Some of the vocals on this album are great, but others aren't.

The latest album is brill, Some very Fireman type cuts like Rushes, Macca is selling a Deluxe set via the Fireman with one Cd including 7 tracks of remixes and various versions.
Some of the tracks on the Fireman's latest could have been longer for me, some are short I guess I didn't want them to end..

it was..too bright for that.
it was, um.....traveling quite slowly and then became really bright, brighter than any star Id ever seen
and then..faded away and then became bright again and then traveled away at the same speed...

Yes, the new Fireman album is remarkable. It's amazing that after all these years he is still such a seeker. Just listen to the variety of vocals on the Fireman album, so much experimentation with his voice alone. If people can't recognize McCartney's genius it's their loss. I just hope they feel "cooler" and "hipper" than the rest of us.
