river bet to entice a call? Maybe even check
the river? That half pot bet on the river by Gus
turned out to be a probe bet. I think if Gus's
opponent goes all in , Gus folds his bottom two
pair.

She didn't raise because she feared the straight. I imagine she raised the flop, Gus called, and then the 3 hit on the turn. It sounds like she bet and was re-raised, and then made a scared call, fearing Gus had A2 or 67, but still hoping the K's were good (they weren't, because Gus had 2 pair, but no one can put him on 34 here). Then the K hit, but raising here would be committing at least 2/3 of her chips, which isn't wise when you think you may be beat. Made sense to me at least.

I understand that she didn't re-raise because she feared the straight but as Doyle Brunson says, you can't play poker worrying that your opponent has the nuts all the time, especially against aggressive players like Gus.
