A truly wonderful film. I particularly liked the use of stills to drive the cliched stereotypes idea forward.
I also like the tap dancing soundtrack.

I wouldn't have said racism was necessarily a part of this short. The theme is about assuming a stereotyped behaviour from an individual based on the misperception of the behaviour of a social group. In this case, the lady happened to be white and the young boy black. But I believe it was the factors of age and clothing choices that played the biggest misperception by the shop owner.

that was powerful. i'm a senior at rancho verde high and i've been thinking about going into a field of engineering, but watching your work makes me rethink that. years ago i was wanting to get into film but i dont know what i really want to do.
