it's a very underestimated movie. It's brilliant. A jewelry in the dark you know. Something you have to see. It's a very deep movie.

there is some of it. It's pretty intensive through the whole movie, there's a big massacre in the beginning, in the middle there is a small confrontation with enemies and a "big" battle and the end there is a climatic battle featuring snipers and rocket launchers:-P

yeah, it's actually more action that you think, but still not that much if you compare to WW2-era movies like Saving Private Ryan and Windtalkers, but i guess the action scenes in S&S is less KABOOM and bulletwhines and more feeling to it.

these amercans tried to escape, so the germans had to fire. but they killed the wounded too... but anyway, many soldiers brake their laws in war, even americans=) I dont like america any better than germany, but what the germans did was wrong, but they where desperate, and easily manipulated by that psycho Hitler...

its sad to hear that you base your knowledge on German soldiers, on what you have read or herd by others.
And you must respect the Soldiers of the whermacht who chose to fight for their country...they did not know Hitler was a mad man in the beginning.
The same with the Waffen-SS grenadiers from other European countries..
I respect a whermacht soldier just as much as a British or American who sacrificed their lives in Normandy. Just read about Stalingrad...and you will understand.

dude...is it wrong to fight for your country? Is it wrong to choose a side and fight communism.
I find it more respectful to choose a side, than to do nothing like many Norwegians did.
my grandfather lost many young Norwegian friend...some 17...they died for Norway.

sorry if i explained my thougts wrong, what i ment, was that the allied would do the same to the germans, have u seen this movie? it shows that germans also where humans...
anyway, i know they didnt know what hitler did, even those who worked at the camps where the jews where killed didnt know what they where doing...

the norwegian suported england with ships, fought even when norway was captured by germany, they even sabotaged the germans from making the first atomic bomb... dont say that norway didnt do anything, we did everything we could!!! Norway was poor, so we didnt have a big enough army to fight the germans and protect our country alone, so we helped the allied in other parts of europe. sweden didnt choose a side, dont mix them with norway!!!
and norway worked close to Churcill.
