Mr.Ivey has managed to bring a heap of classless children to a game that used to be populated by true professionals. I suspect that he alone has helped to lower the standards of one the greatest pasttimes ever.

Puipipipo makes an excellent point and so has dannyt. Ivey is sooo outclassed when playing at the same table that even the freshest donkey can see. In fact, I guarantee that Ivey, the slackjawed mouth breather, will never get close to playing at the level that Antonius is at.

i'm a 25/50 nl player, i typically charge $750/hr for someone to sweat me, but i dont mind answering ?s if people are respectful; ego is prevalent in poker which is bad, it makes u tilt faster and u dont learn as quickly. ivey's considered best pkr plyr in the world because hes world-class at 12-15 variations, not cause his NLHE skill. Tip: i like people who read pkr books, they're predictable and exploitable. Ex: raise utg w/ 72off and ull get a lot of foldouts from med. strength+ hands.

This is incorrect. Hellmuth has more bracelets than Ivey merely because he has played in more tournaments than Ivey, against smaller, weaker fields in the early 90s. Ivey wasn't old enough to play poker legally when Phil won most of his bracelets.
