The problem with her analogy is that 'love' can be shown to exist, but there is no scientific evidence that any paranormal event or ability can exist. Furthermore, the ability for people to delude themselves and others is well-documented and known to exist. The real reason why psychics have not been accepted is that there already are a scientific and non-paranormal explanations for everything they do.

I had that happen once, and I was actually reading a book and trying to figure out how, and I was focusing really hard and then all of a sudden I got a vision of a guy in a motorcycle accident, and I got in my car and drove their and a guy fell off his bike, it was so real, but at the time, it didn't seem to phase me, I wonder why? I'm going to practice again.
