Video Description: The Tupolev Tu-160 (NATO reporting name Blackjack) is a supersonic, variable-geometry heavy bomber designed by the Soviet Union. Equivalent to the B-1 Lancer, it was the last Soviet strategic bomber design and the heaviest combat aircraft ever built. Introduced in 1987, production of the aircraft still continues, with 16 currently in service with the Russian Air Force. Its pilots call the Tu-160 the "White Swan", due to the surprising maneuverability and overall white color of the aircraft

If it sounded like that, you got the wrong end of the stick. The Tu-160 is twice as good as anything the americans have. The B-1 b isn't even in the same class, it's a low-level bomber, not a strategic bomber. This means that the only other aircraft in the Tu-160's class, i.e. cruise missile carrier, are the B-52 and B-2. Neither are supersonic, and both have crappy bombloads compared to the Blackjack. The B-2 may be stealth, but someone will develop a system that can detect it eventually.

What an incredible aircraft! Twice as fast as the equivilant B1B, 30% larger, greater payload capacity, precision weapons and anti-ship capability, terrain following radar, the list goes on. The world's best bomber, without a doubt. Best looking too!

B1 is Tu-22 compatible. Blackjack is in a higher league for sure. It is same as B-52 in terms of ordnance and range being much faster than even F-18 fighter. After almost 30 years since first flight it still by far the best bomber in the world.

U-2 Was never designed as a stealth aircaft.
1 F-117 has been lost out of hundreds of missions in multiple war zones. 1.
Also, the f-117 is a first generation stealth aircraft. They now have a second generation of stealth aircraft.
Again, Russia, has not yet produced there first.
The TU-160 has been obsolete in American standards for at least 20 yrs.

Russia is currently working on plasma stealth.
