I'm totally jealous. I wish I could sing like that at 18. Also, what is a "natural Broadway relaxed voice"? I think it would sound strange if he was singing in one style and suddenly switched to a more operatic style just for that high B flat. Kudos!!!

Actually, InTrebleNow, the Bb is not optional. It is the lower line that is optional. Bernstein intended the Bb to be sung.

I better hear this name in the Metropolitan Opera. He's got the voice and with a good instructor he'd give Sheryl Milnes a run for his money. Definately the best version I've heard in a long time!!!

I saw this musical with my older sister, Danielle, when she was a senior and I was a freshman at MacArthur. She told me that he was really wonderful, and I was not the least bit disappointed. Good luck with the rest of your career. \(^o^)/
