Video Description: Living local to the site where the ill-fated Exercise Tiger took place I have long been interested in the story of D-Day & Operation Overlord. It was in 2006 that our family holiday took us to Normandy, France and I could not pass up the chance to visit the area that was supposed to resemble the little part of Devon that is Slapton Sands.
With humble recognition to Steven Spielberg and the fantastic music of John Williams this is my tribute to those that paid the ultimate price for everything we now hold so dear.

Chapter 1) when i saw this movie at the theater I was by myself. When I got up to leave I saw this old man and his wife getting up. That movie really shook me up. As I saw them I said good movie eh? And the man just stared at me and didn't say a word not expression on his face.

I walked up to this man and gave him a big hug him put my hands on his shoulder and I had tears running down my face and said thanks and helped him to his car. I could barely stand up and went to my car where I just sat there for about a half hour.

american's were by FAR braver than the germans.
germans got to sit in there bunkers with a 8mm machine gun in they're hands shooting randomly at helpless men on the beach, while the americans were getting off thinly armored higgins boats and running into a wall of high caliber hail.

You can Google "Saving Private Ryan soundtrack" and order it there or the album at least. You can also probably by it from I tunes. The song is "Omaha Beach" I believe.
