is watching the action from the player's perspective better, i.e. as used in this clip, or is angle used in the High Stakes Backgammon (World Championships) shows the way to go? I think I prefer the latter. Poker has peaked. Backgammon in the ascendancy.

I think the vertical view, as here, is clearer. It's the view when playing, after all.
I've only just found these videos, and it's great to see old friends/opponents like Sean and John Clark in the limelight. Great for the game to get this coverage, I hope youtube helps more people to discover just how exciting and challenging this game really is! More, PLEASE!!
