The controversey surrounding Brody's murder is crazy. Tony Atlas tells story of how Brody was stabbed to death in showers during some wrestling gig. Horrible stuff to hear how wrestlers turn their heads, and allowed Brody to be murdered. Disgusting.

Awesome footage!!! Brody was something else. I have a poloroid from 1980 of myself sitting up on his shoulders outside the ring after a match in Mesquite Tx. Hell of a day for a 8 y/o .

The rumour of the death of Brody I know was like this: Invader was angry for his child death because happens in a party and Brody was able to help her but do nothing/wasn´t capable of do anything, however after that incident the ban towards PP lasted many years, I heard about Japanese Wrestlers asked the Yakuza for help to kill Invader if he goes to Japan. After many years this stilla controversy, after that Hercules Hdez. work a very stiff bloodymach on Invader, it sayed it was a revenge.

the judge and the jury said when they saw his matches they thought he was really insane so when Invader killed him, they said it was self-defense. they should have seen this interview, because it proves how much a great guy he was.

R.I.P. Bruiser. He was an incredible athlete, entertainer, and he was intelligent to top it off. I remember back in the 80s getting the magazines and seeing Bruiser drenched in blood. They never played his matches until the short UWF stint- which I always enjoyed because of their certain brand of rough wrestling.

This shows Brody in a whole new light. Remember, Brody was in his prime when the Lugers, Hogans and Ultimate Warriors of the world were taking the "me first" attitude to a whole new level. Brody was good to those who were good to the business. I think he'd like a lot of the guys who came along in the 90's and 2000 like Foley, Dreamer, Sabu, the Hardy's, etc.

To add to his last comment about wrestling in the small towns and the smaller promotions in the old territorial days of the business he did just that.Here in Georgia during the'80s there was a small promotion owned by the late Crusher Blackwell. Bruiser was one of the main eventers.One of his matches was his legendary feud with Abdullah The Butcher.

What a great guy, never really new much about him or saw him wrestle apart from old clips...but he just seems like a rally good guy, damn shame what happend to him...
