but do u know how they stoped the water in the canal from going into the hole to?

The part about the 400foot gyser of water that shot out of the mine shaft...it's just too funny in a really messed up way...thinking about all the dead fish:(
This is an ecological disaster; these seem pretty common these days, like the Great Pacific Landfill for example.
1) Drilling over a mine or cave-like structure W/O knowing it (should have used sonar or something to test first
2) Drilling in a lake OVER said cave-like structure
It's like all these radioactive storage bins underground. Sweet. when one breaks... don't cry over the two-headed kids being born. :)
