Uploader: kenishiroVideo Description: This is my PDA, an olde Palm Zire 72. In order to turn it into a PMP, i supplied it with a 2gb SD, installed TCPMP and encoded with Super. So in my card i have 90 videos, consists of music videos and short videos. i have successfully encoded a full LOTR:ROTK movie and put it in but the battery life's kind of suck now, so i opt for shorter videos.

First, I have a 4GB card in my Zire72. 72's officially only support 2GB due to FAT formatting, but there is a way to get the Zire to read FAT32 - Google for more info.
See next post for the rest of my setup...
To play them, I use MMPlayer. It's not free but DEFINITELY worth getting for the Zire72.
MMPlayer is the best video player I've ever used for the Palm. It's simple to use and has lots of extra controls that let you adjust contrast/brightness, amplify volume, manually adjust audio synch, zoom, etc. etc.
Sorry but Im a dummy with PDA stuff.
read above plz.
To get it to work, find "FAT32.prc" on the web...it shouldn' take too long to find it. Write it to your Zire's internal memory, reset the Palm, then it will be able to read FAT32 formatting. So pop in your 4GB card and it should work.
I've only heard of people using 4GB cards with this trick...but I don't see why even larger cards wouldn't work since the formatting would be the same (FAT32).
As for FLVm you'll need to find out if there's a Flash player for the Palm. I've never looked.
