Um, just because the book Lolita is mentioned doesn't mean that the song as a whole refers to it. It's an allusion.
If you had read Lolita, you would know that its main character is NOT a teacher. The song is clearly about a student-teacher relationship. Check your facts before you start calling people "fucking idiots".

Well, while I don't approve of calling people 'fucking idiots', I have to point out an error on your part. At one point, later in the novel, Humbert Humbert does in fact take up a teaching position at a small academic insitituion (I believe this is when Lolita has been missing for some time, right before she contacts him again and reveals the pregnancy.)
Even so, 'that book by Nabokov' compounded with the context of this song would most definitely suggest 'Lolita'.

Oh and by the way this song is most definately reference to "Lolita" and Humbert is a writer when he decides to lodge at the house, but i believe they are referencing more to his graphic descriptions of how he felt in her prescence, rather than whether he is her teacher or not, which he isnt.

Personally I prefer the '86 version. Though this video is definitely the better of the two.
