I am always tryingto guide mykids to make sure they do something that they love and gives them joy.You may not get up EVERY day and lookforward to going to work but ifyou can do it most days,you're on your way.I have angry people tellme I am a slave but because of what I do and how I do it I am not a slave in my mind,soul or actions.Years ago I would look at people like Buddha's or Ghandi etc...and wonder how,with all they did every day they could seem so happy and PRESENT,now I know. Cool. You seem to be an advocator of epicureanism, or hedonism as it is sometimes called, which is basically the philosophy that pleasure is the ultimate good. It was also one of the three major philosophic schools in the helenistic or roman era together with skepticism and stoicism - which was like its counterpart (well sort of.) Epicureanism is certainly a noble outlook on life and one of my favorite of the ancient teachings along with skepticism and cynicism.

Your video itself, seems to touch on a debate that has been waged among philosophers for centuries - Truth vs Happiness. One is of the opinion that happiness has been our ultimate goal all along and so long as we have that everything else is peanuts. The other feels that nothing is of higher value than truth, and that the 'unexamined life is not worth living.' Then there are some - LIKE ME - who feel that in the end you can't have one without the other anyway.

I myself am an atheist. Which to me is basically autotheism or the belief that the individual is or can be a god. Unlike a theist I don't consider myself a servant who follows orders but a master who makes decisions. I am a human being has figured out how to live on his own, and who has the freedom and the power to live responsibly, fearless of the notion of permanent death, and independent of the direction and purpose of a higher being.

It's a reality, something that you haven't been in touch with for a while.
