the thing is if the battery goes bad like most cell phone batteries do then with the iphone you have to send the phone back to apple and it has to be opened and it effects your phones insurance, but with the removable battery you can just get a new one and not have to worry about not having your phone for a few days to a week.

Well i can't say i support him, but he has a point... I mean we as customers are actually paying alot of money for these phones while in the end most people just make use of the basic phone call and text messaging, and maybe the ipod feautre on the iphone but honestly for the rest i can't see myself watching a movie in a decent manner on a tiny screen or browse the internet fully besides maybe mailing...
In the end we are just players in their markey game

Yeah but the memory is removable, so there's no limit to how much memory u can have. iPhone has a lot better interface than the Instinct. I think that's the major difference for casual users.

its all about preference and btw umm...the instinct is more customizable o and it also does more then iphone the only thing iphone can do that instinct cant is multi-touch which isnt really needed u just have 2 press the screen in different way multi-touch...and... localized touch...hmm..the names r different...the way u press them is different..so the must b different! omg! either both phones rock im just sayin know ur stuff b4 u try and knock a phone off the scale ^_^

Dude you glossed over the fact that iPod doesnt GPS have real time GPS. Once you use GPS giving you real time turn by turn directions, you will never use iPhones Mapquest directions. Video camera and live TV closes the deal. iPhone does iPod things better, but I HAVE and iPod, dont need one on my cell. I store movies, videos and music on my 80gig iPod, iPhone doesnt come close. Sprint pricing is cheaper too

The iPhone 3G does have a GPS Position Tracker that works perfectly, it even has a satelite view. The Instinct has voice directions and regular map view, (which sucks)
Alot of people dont know that you can get live TV on the Internet, and the iPhone can pull it up (unlike the Instinct) which means, the iphone does have Live TV!
