Make sure your stage0.def and your stage0.sff are both in the Stages folder of your Mugen, then try again.

This could be one of two things. First make sure you have a stage named test (or rename the files to test.def and test.sff). Then put test.def and test.sff in the stages folder of your Mugen and try again. If that doesn't work there is an error with the stage that will need more look.

hey dude. every stage i download ends up being really small and not fit the screen.. the fighters always fight in this sourt negative zone..have any idea how to enlarge the stage?
i have Broken Mugen if that helps

It could have to do with your Mugen resolution settings. I am not exactly sure. Go into mugen.cfg and look around for different graphic settings to change. Or try some different stages and see if they all give that problem.

i have a problem i downloaded a bigger roster and i needed to make my own folder well i have to but my characters in my folder and they work but when i but the folder in my folder it doesn't work. the funny thing is before i got the new roster and made a new folder the stages were working but now they don't can u help me?

Your Mugen folder should only have 6 folders:
chars, data, stages, sound, font, plugins
No more than that. In the chars folder you should have each individual character folder. In the stages folder have the .def and .sff of each stage (those are not in folders).

did u download a bigger roster so u can put more characters in because when i got my roster i looked up on youtube the person said make your own and go on the mugen folder and but the name of the folder u made in that i can't explain it that good... but ty

Hmm doesn't sound right to me. Its better to download a premade screenpack and use the directions of it to add characters.

I recommend looking on mugen infantry. They have many screenpacks there. I can recommend the eve battle screenpack or brokenmugen. You could also try mugen fighting jam.

Check mugen infantry for more characters. Its one of the better sites for that. For adding music check my other tutorials. Theres also a little in this one for stages.
