"Oh come on Nick, we don't have 4 years!" I joked.
"Very funny." He returned sarcastically.
"Oh! I know will make you feel better!" I said as I whipped out my cell phone and started going through my contacts. There it was. I started texting. 'Hey. Come get us. Were at the corner of Maple stuck on a balcony. Apparently Nick's scared of heights:/'
I got a text back. 'K, be right there.'
"Soo, what's your plan?" Nick asked, curious to what I was doing.
"Don't worry, you'll feel better."
5 minutes later a voice called up to us.
"You guys up there?! Nick?! Nick, no matter how scared you get, don't pee your pants! Someone might get a picture and that will make us all look like whimps!" We both looked down. It was Joe.
"That was your idea? To have Joe come and make fun of me? Wow, I feel so much better now." Nick said, clearly confused. I was confused too.
"No! I texted Kevin! I Thought he would come and like say something to make you not scared or something!" My play obviously backfired. I yelled down to Joe.
"Joe! Where's Kevin?!"
"Sorry guys! I was playing blackjack on his phone when you sent the text. I couldn't resist but to come see this for myself!" Now I felt guilty, I guess I should just stick to calling next time.
"I'm sorry Nick. I didn't know this would happen. I thought that..."
Nick's P.O.V
Abby kept rambling on and on about what she thought would happen. I wasn't really listening though. She looked so cute just sitting there apologizing to me. I couldn't stop smiling at her.
"I thought that Kevin- What?" she asked when she noticed me smiling. I replied to her by kissing her on the lips.
"EW! Uh, hello!? I can see you guys from down here!" I heard Joe yell. When I didn't back away I felt something hit the back of my head. I pulled back and saw Joe's shoe.
"Oh, good! Your done! Now Why don't you come down here so we can leave!" He yelled again.
"Fine!" I yelled back, "But just for that, your shoes not coming down with us!"
"Dude, no! Those are brand new! Throw it down!" I took it and chucked it at his face. "Ow! I meant gently!" Abby laughed and the spoke.
"You ready?"
"Uh..ladies first." She headed down and I hesitantly followed. We reached the ground.
"Congratulations buddy! Your pants are completely dry." Abby stomped on his shoeless foot.
"OUCH! Okay I'm done...jeez, you violent people."
