i need your help!
how can you map and slice a sample on cubase and what do you use to ma the different drums sounds on a midi track (do u use kotakt or battery or something else)thanks a lot
You can use battery, kontakt or any plugin that allows you to map to your keys. I slice and edit with Adobe Audition. There are better products to edit with. Zero-X Beatcreator is one of my favorites. Recycle is also another good one. Hope that helps?
Thanks for the comments...and happy beatmaking!

It is the M-Audio Ozone and I set it up with USB. All your hardware should show up to the left. I really don't understand what you mean by connecting it to use the knobs? I dont use the knobs in Cubase unless I have the plugin for Propellarhead Reason, and even then it is controlling the Reason and not Cubase. I do think there is a way so keep up with my vids and if I do set up the knobs, I will post a video on YouTube!

Yes you can with Steinberg Wavelab, Adobe Audition, and a few other wave editing programs. The ones I mentioned have produced the best results for me. Another is Recycle. You just have to download some demo software to see which one works best for you.
