i just think he was lucky. these crashes are pretty dangerous. i personally dont see why he is such a hero. he knows about the dangers.

He's a hero because after such a nasty fall, he won 2 golds. Even if you're physically fine, coming so close to death usually has a traumatizing effect. For him to get back up and win golds so soon after such a fall is what makes him a hero. Not the fact that he knows about crashing.
