I have a theory about how he tricked the man. In every session Derren Brown either shook his head or nodded and each time he did the answer was the opposite of which action he did. So when he nodded the answer was actually no and vice versa. the guys subconcious caught the physical movements and convinced him that it was the correct answer. Well thats my theory on how he tricked him.

This is a great trick I have met Derren He's really nice I wonder why every one is really trying to figure out this trick Your all so intense about it as well first I think you need to ask yourself why? To look good and boast you know how its done. To feel safe and know the world is flat and wizards or psychics don't exist. Or to become like Derren which defies the point of discussing it online.
