The main point is that we need to change the system by rallying together as much support as we can for third parties. Having a choice between two lame ducks is the problem and Ron Paul basically wanted to say that as things are it is not truly a contest and that the voting process isn't really working. In a way it's like despotism and people interested in keeping themselves in power are constantly being voted for. It's not about winning or losing but about fixing the process.

We can't unite the parties. Ron Paul believes government should regulate less, Ralph Nader believes government should regulate the same amount but just more efficiently & smarter. There seems to be no meeting in the middle on this issue. It's like abortion, people seem to be either for it or against it, not both.
